This looks great for a wedding cake I have been asked to make. Would it work well for a fondant covered cake too?

What brand of white food colouring do you use for your buttercream? And do you use standard butter or have you managed to find a whiter butter?! Thank you 🫶

Beautiful recipe 😋
I’m making my nephews wedding cake and wondered how tall are your 4 layer cakes and the 3 layer ones please? Just working out wedding cake portions and obviously want a uniformed height for the tiers xx

How much red food colouring should I put in the drip? & also how much white food colouring for the buttercream?

Thanks ☺️

It means the same thing – but the ratios on this are slightly different to a standard cake so it might not be super fluffy x

Love your recipes and I want to bake this for my 50th.
One question if I may Jane? The recipe says to just combine the butter and sugar, not beat it until light and fluffy? Forgive me if you mean the same thing, but I’ve just bought all of the ingredients and don’t want to mess this up. I’ve never made Red velvet before. Thanks in advance

Or can you tell me how tall the cake is?
Thank you
