Strawberry Sundae

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine the strawberries, water, and honey. Cook until it comes to a boil. Simmer for 1 minute, skim the foam, and then turn off the heat.
  • Let cool to room temperature. Mash the berries with a fork, or run through a food processor to make a perfectly smooth sauce.
  • Stir in the rose water.
  • Serve over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
