Well, this week has brought us two remarkable comments. Governor Romney has wondered aloud why windows on aircraft do not open. Madonna has told her audience that they ‘fuc.ing’ well better vote for Obama and that we have a ‘Black Muslim’ in the White House.
Will someone please tell me why anyone was close enough to the Governor to hear that remark and why there is an audience to listen to that woman? Why does anyone listen to either of them? It is bad enough to have to make sense out of Mr. Romney’s scripted opinions. Hearing him speak his mind is to be exposed to either prejudice or buffoonery. Since listening to music is an acquired taste, there are probably those who taste salivates in Madonna’s direction. But if you have time to listen to her opinions, you have way too much time on your hands or your taste is all in your mouth.
